The Constitution Party of Washington held is semi-annual State Committee Meeting in Spokane, Washington on 3 October 2009. Both the business and the public sessions were successful and well attended. Guest speaker, Patrick Wood, editor of the August Review (www.augustreview.com) gave an excellent and well-researched presentation on the influence and dangers of the Trilateral Commission within the United States Government, indeed the world at large.
Also making presentations were:
- Randall Yearout of Red, White & Blue Collar Radio talking about his Constitution Minute currently heard on radio stations in the Spokane area;
- Dann Selle and Kurt Smith of the Spokane T.E.A. Party; and,
- Larry Stickney, President of the Washington Values Alliance and promoter of Referendum 71.
In the morning business session new officers were elected and resolutions passed. The new officers are:
Chairman – Bob Peck
Vice Chairman – Karen Murray
Secretary – Paul Franklin
Treasurer – Marilyn Montgomery
Resolutions concerning House Joint Memorial 4009 (HJM 4009) and Initiative 1033 were presented and passed unanimously (see Media Release section).
